Passion Pit’s work includes all the songs from their Album “Gossamer” like “Take a Walk” and “Carried Away” and all the songs from their last release “Kindred” which shows the band’s creative evolution and the new work that the frontman Michael Angelakos and the rest of the band have been developing in the last years. The band was formed by lead singer and guitarist Michael Angelakos for his girlfriend while he was in college at Emerson College. It was originally a special project for her but after huge success, the band started touring the world to perform live for fans everywhere. In the past, Passion Pit has performed in countries all over the world in addition to traveling to festivals such as Coachella and Bonnaroo. The band initially received critical acclaim with the release of their first album, Manners, which garnered a positive reaction from fans and critics alike and solidified the band’s place in the indie-electronic scene.
The Roseland Theater is a venue located at 8 NW 6th Avenue, Portland, OR 97209. The Theater hosts live music in Portland and other events in Portland at an intimate setting that holds up to 1,400 guests for shows.
