Thrash of The Titans

Get ready to experience the thrash metal explosion that is Testament, as they will be taking the Thrash of The Titans tour coming to the Roseland Theater in Portland on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Doors will open around 6pm with a 7pm showtime. The three bands will be playing a full set of thrash metal anthems with a few special guests from Overkill and Destruction. All ages are welcome to this show, and the main floor will be general admission for moshing with other metal fans, while those of drinking age may sit in the reserved balcony to take in the action from above. Additional tour dates are also coming to Boise, St. Petersburg, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Phoenix and Berkeley bringing decades of thrash metal to the people.

Testament

Feel the power of the stage as they perform songs from a career spanning 30 plus years that includes Practice What You Preach, Souls of Black, Over the Wall and The New Order and many more. One of the pioneering bands of thrash metal from California, formed in 1983 originally under the name Legacy, Testament is widely regarded as one of the most influential thrash metal bands in history. Testament was nominated and won Best Album at Metal Hammer’s Golden Gods Awards for The Formation of Damnation in 2008. With over 1.4 million records sold in the US alone and 4 million worldwide Testament is considered thrash metal royalty. Current members vocalist Chuck Billy, guitarists Eric Peterson and Alex Skolnick, bassist Steve Di Giorgio and drummer Chris Dovas bring their decades long expertise to the stage to give fans an unforgettable thrash metal experience featuring music from their 2020 album Titans of Creation.

Overkill

Thrash legends from the East Coast, Overkill are here to bring the pain. We play songs from their discography that include "Hello from the Gutter", "Elimination", "Rotten to the Core" and "Wrecking Crew". Formed in 1980, the band has never broken up, continuing to tour and release music to this day. The band's founding members are bassist D.D. Verni and vocalist Bobby 'Blitz' Ellsworth, who have created 20 studio albums of thrash metal that helped define the genre of American thrash metal. Their 2023 album "Scorched" is their latest.

Destruction

Destruction of Germany are the final act in this thrash metal trifecta of legends. Get ready for a non-stop thrash fest with tracks like “Curse the Gods”, “Mad Butcher”, “Release from Agony” and “Thrash Till Death”. Destruction is a German thrash metal band from Lörrach, founded in 1982, along with fellow Teutonic Four members Kreator, Sodom and Tankard. They released their latest thrash attack album “Diabolical” in 2022. Long-time bassist and vocalist of the band, Schmier, and guitarist Mike Sifringer are responsible for bringing Destruction’s high-energy live shows to life. With 17 studio albums under their belt and over 40 years of existence, Destruction and the other members of the Teutonic Four are considered one of the pioneering bands of the European thrash metal movement.
