Given started his career in 2018 with his self-released single, “Garden Kisses.” He was discovered by Canadian record producer Seven Thomas on SoundCloud, and later, he signed him for Epic Records. In 2019, he released another single, “Like I Want You” and then appeared as an opening act on Snoh Aalegra’s Ugh, A Mini Tour Again. He has been really impressive with live performances and is expected to sell out several shows on the upcoming tour.
The artist gained widespread popularity in 2020 after featuring on Drake’s single, Chicago Freestyle. Drake is currently one of the biggest names in the American music industry, but it gave Given a much-needed boost in his career. The same year, he released two hit EPs, Take Time and When It’s All Said And Done. The former was nominated for a Grammy, whereas the latter reached the top 40 in the U.S. Given will release his debut album in June this year. Fans are excited to hear it live for the first time as the album is set to unveil on 24th June.
